A joint venture with a leading well-established contracting company in the Eastern Province has paved the way for LV to operate a full door to door logistics service throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Working in Partnership
LV Shipping has formed a partnership with Abdullah A.M. Al Khodari Sons Ltd in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, to set up a new joint venture company, Al Khodari LV Shipping and Logistics Co (KLV). Founded in 1955, Al Khodari ranks in the top 100 companies in the Kingdom, currently employing over 9,000 people and operating in excess of 700 trucks in all corners of Saudi.
The joint venture company is run and managed by one of LV’s senior managers, now resident in Al Khobar. KLV provides a complete one-stop logistics service for all shipping and transport requirements for both inbound and outbound cargoes, as well as all in-country operations.
With over 700 trucks at its disposal, KLV can co-ordinate pick-ups and deliveries on a daily basis throughout Saudi Arabia.
Services and Infrastructure
KLV’s principal task is to provide a fully integrated service encompassing all aspects of shipping, transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing and project logistics within the Kingdom and surrounding Gulf States. With its headquarters in the Eastern Province city of Al Khobar, KLV is strategically located for the port of Dammam, the international airports at Dammam and Bahrain, as well as the industrial city of Al Jubail. With regional representation in Riyadh, Jeddah and Yanbu, KLV offers global coverage of the Kingdom.
Communications
With the placement of one of LV’s senior employees to run and manage the company, the level of accurate and instant reporting is second to none. With a live feed to LV’s global track and trace computer system, all transit data is updated and acted upon immediately.
